Pengaruh Kompetensi dan Digitalisasi Terhadap Efektivitas Tata Kelola Administrasi di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri 36 Jakarta Utara



This research originates from systemic obstacles in school
administration that have yet to reach optimal effectiveness,
particularly in ensuring responsive, systematic, and integrated
governance. Administrative effectiveness at SMK Negeri 36 North
Jakarta has not achieved an ideal performance level, as indicated by
weak inter-unit coordination, low technological proficiency among
administrative personnel, and limited continuous training to support
adaptive work capacity. Such conditions create the potential for
institutional stagnation and delays in public service delivery,
especially in the context of managing BLUD-based budgets, which
demand high accuracy and transparency. This research employs a
quantitative approach using a questionnaire survey method targeting
the entire population of 65 individuals, comprising teachers,
administrative staff, and education personnel involved in the school’s
administrative processes. A total sampling technique was applied,
yielding 64 respondents. Data analysis was conducted through simple
and multiple linear regression using SPSS for Windows version 29.
The findings reveal that: (1) competence has a positive and significant
effect on administrative governance effectiveness, with a significance
value of 0.000 and a contribution of 55.2%; (2) digitalization also has
a positive and significant effect on effectiveness, with a significance
value of 0.000 and a contribution of 40.0%; and (3) competence and
digitalization simultaneously exert a positive and significant influence
on administrative governance effectiveness, with a significance value
of 0.000 and a coefficient of determination (R²) of 67.2%, while the
remaining 32.8% is influenced by other variables not examined in this
research. These results underscore that strengthening human
resource quality and digitalizing work systems are not merely
important but serve as strategic factors in shaping efficient and
accountable administrative governance. Improving effectiveness
requires not only expanding digital infrastructure but also fostering
continuous competence development and designing integrated
information systems to create an adaptive, measurable work
environment that supports accelerated performance in vocational
education institutions.
